Volunteers Needed
Cumberland County has one of the highest rates of homelessness in New Jersey, yet the fewest resources to address it. Without volunteers, many of our neighbors would have nowhere to turn for basic necessities and support.

The statistics tell a story that's happening right here in our backyard: The crisis at our doorstep
164 neighbors experienced homelessness on a single night in January 2023—that’s 164 people who went to sleep uncertain where they’d wake up the next morning.
70 households urgently requested emergency food assistance—making food the most critical immediate need in our community.
44% have no income whatsoever, meaning they’re entirely dependent on community support for basic survival needs.
313% increase in people sleeping on the streets since 2022—the crisis is growing rapidly, but so is our determination to address it.
